20110318 Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

March 2011 trip to Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens

At Lewis Ginter they were showcasing orchids.
So here is my orchid amongst their orchids

The sky was clear and blue and these long pine needles glistening in the sun were striking.

We set up the tripod and put the camera on timer to take three pictures in succession to get some pictures of us together.

A nice couple posing on a bench!!!

A ladyslipper looking orchid.

Tona checking her camera - she captured the picture of me with the tripod above.

A magnolia getting ready to open.

Foliage, color, texture, on a beautiful blue background!!!

A colorful bed of spring flowers!!!

Tona taking a pause for a pose under the white blossoms.
